Hooky Spirits Jug / Vase - Amber & White - Small
A handled ceramics spirits jug or vase - approx 15-16cm tall. The jug / vase typically holds between 500-550mls.
Made from speckled buff clays and based on the 18th-19th century spirits and vinegar jars used to transport and store liquids.
The earthly colours were selected so that they complemented flowers when used as a vase, rather than clashing with or overpowering any floral arrangement.
Made from a mix of speckled and plain buff clays, these jugs are chestnut & white in colour - as a result of overlaying the Amber glaze on top of the White glaze.
