Auck Folk Festival – Plate Making pottery session - Sat 1:30pm (45mins)

This is your chance to have a bit of a play with clay, make and decorate 1 or 2 small square plates. We will bisque and glaze fire your pieces off-site and then courier them to you within 3 weeks, after the festival.

What you will create: You can make and decorate 1 or 2 small square plates (depending on your proficiency) - see pics

TOOLS: We have all the tools , patterns and forms that you will need

PROVIDED: All clay and the Matte White glaze, plus all bisque and glaze firing for 1-2 items

PLEASE BRING: your own hand towel and apron, if you have one - if not we will have hand wipes & some “shared” towels available

WHEN: Saturday 24th 1:30-2:15pm (approx. 45mins)

WHERE: Stables Pottery tent located in the Folk Festival market square
